Terrazzo Flooring
Terrazzo flooring, also known as “Venetian terrazza,” has its roots in the 15th century. Originally designed for terraces and outdoor spaces, it later became the flooring of choice for noble palaces and residences of the era.
Over time, this material has evolved significantly, and today’s modern terrazzo presents as a seamless surface, allowing the creation of floors without joints extending up to 150 m².
Composed of stone fragments—usually marble—mixed with cement, modern terrazzo stands out for its versatility, customizability, and durability. The wide variety of available stones and the option to pigment the cement in various colors give terrazzo floors a unique character. Installation is typically done at a thickness of 10 to 15 mm, following the client’s specifications.
After installation, skilled hands and advanced machinery polish the surface to achieve a glossy, matte, or satin finish, making every floor a unique and highly valuable work of art.
With our artisanal expertise, we create elegant Venetian-style terrazzo floors that add a touch of class and sophistication to any environment.
